Man of the match - Stuart Whiteley: For his cameo appearance from the touchline to take out one of the Rossington players who also came off the touchline to push around Bully during a frackar!!

Quote of the Day - Bully to Stu after the match - I'll be your wingman anytime!!

                         - From the Rossington Hornets... 'this is the strongest team we have put out all season!!'

D.O.D - For Jimmy to try and run through the biggest back only to have it ripped off him 2 meters out and instead of scoring himself allowing him to run the 98m and score under the posts!! Agh!!!

Thought of the day - Theres is no substitute for training and preperation!!

Righto ... I have been busy so it has taken me a few days to get round to doing this.

Basically Rossington had some big swift backs who when given room to get a head of steam appeard to be untackle-able!!  This let down some great work by the forwards who really kept us in the game and set up all of the tries.

The hottest game of the season so far started badly when Rossington posted two then tree tries in a short succession.  It appeard that there was going to be a walk over.  Fortunately the forwards started to work together and the youth and lack of dicipline in the Rossingto Hornets showed Allowing the oaks back into the game. After posting two tries and a penalty we were well and truely back in the game getting Rossingtons backs up.  After trying to ruffle up selly all in ensued with pitch in invasions from both sides before all being asked to stand behind the barriers for the rest of the game.

The second half started badly after another weak try was given away before Oaks started to switch on again.  After posting another try which was converted by Jim, Oaks were well and truly back in it 24 - 24.  Pushing their line on a number of occasions only to loose the ball at crucial moments.  It was these errors that stopped Sheffield Oaks putting the final nail in the coffin and allowed Rossington back in the game.  Rossington went to to score 3 more times to our one in 15 minutes to close out the game.

Dissapointing!!
