Welcome to Sheffield Oaks RUFC!!  

 

Sheffield Oaks RUFC are a propper friendly  club based in the S6 area of Sheffield, and play rugby union in Division 5 of the Yorkshire League. We are always on the look out for anyone who wishes to play rugby union  or contribute to the rugby club in any way they can.

 

Rugby training is held at 7pm Wednesday nights at Malin Bridge Social Club on Stannington Road, S6, this is usually followed by a few light drinks and some heavy food.  League matches are played on Saturdays at Myers Grove School and Niagara Sports Ground.

 

We run one senior side at the present time but are looking to start a seconds team.  Sheffield Oaks RUFC are  involved in league, cup and friendly fixtures.   Oaks enjoy a mixture of ages and backgrounds.  Currently we have players from Australia, France, Spain, Uganda and Northern Ireland amongst our club members and vary from 18 to mid 40s - Not that they would admit it or look it - at least that's what we tell em!!

If you want to play rugby and like what you see here then you are more than welcome to come and give Sheffield Oaks RUFC a go on our training night, every Wednesday starting at 7pm at The Gas Club, everybody's welcome.
